Sandy & Kevin would love to welcome you to Cornerstone Cottage, which is ideally situated for your every need, in the lovely Eastern Suburb of Newlands, which is a 3 minute drive or a short walk from Menlyn Shopping Centre. The upmarket centre has over 300 shops, restaurants that would satisfy most taste buds, 15 cinemas to choose from, an IMAX theatre, a Barnyard Theatre with live performances and yes it even has a drive-in Theatre.

We are very well situated with a number of very good private hospitals around us and a number of specialists do reccomend staying at Cornerstone Cottage as Sandy has a good reputation for after care and has spent some time working as a carer in the UK.

We are members of the National Accommodation Association of South Africa (NAA-SA), the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and also the Gauteng Combined Accommodation Association.

The rooms include:
Cornerstone Cottage has two very large and comfortable en-suite rooms with their own private entry and fully air-conditioned.
  • The Family Room sleeps 3 with a Queen size bed in the main room and a single bed in the interleading room.
  • The Garden Cottage sleeps 2 and has a King size bed or two single beds depending on your preference.
  • A spare mattress can be put into either room for a small child.
  • Safe & secure parking is provided for all our guests.
  • Both these rooms have a fridge installed them.
  • WiFi Hotspots provide access to the internet in all rooms.
  • A safe is provided in each room.
  • TV is available in each room as well as a DVD player.
  • Fans are either installed in the room or available on request.
  • Hair Dryers are available in the rooms.
