Abafazi Guest House is situated only 2km from Menlyn Shopping Centre and various other business and shopping centres in Garsfontein Road. There is a fabulous Virgin Active Gym that is within walking distance of Abafazi.
Our Guest House offers the business traveller and private traveller comfortable, stylish and modern accommodation in all our En-Suite Rooms. Our En-Suite 1, 3 and 4 rooms lead onto the pool area where you can enjoy a refreshing swim or just sit and relax while taking in the beautiful garden. You will also enjoy the extremely spacious full bathroom, queen size bed, flat screen TV, full satellite bouquets, air conditioning, bar fridge and coffee and tea facilities. En Suite 3 also has a double sleeper couch. Our En Suite 2 room leads onto a private patio. This room has a full bathroom, three single beds, flat screen TV, full satellite bouquets, air conditioning, bar fridge and coffee and tea facilities. We have a meeting room that can also be used as a training venue or for day functions. It is equipped with projector, 3 x 1.2m magnetic white board and flipcharts and of course, air conditioning. Our Meeting Room can facilitate 12 delegates. Seating can be arranged in classroom or boardroom layout. It’s the ideal location to promote brain storming sessions or workshops in a stress free and relaxing atmosphere. Those that need to be close to Hospitals, we are conveniently close to Constantia Mediclinic, Pretoria East, Faerie Glen, Wilgers and Kloof Hospitals. A shuttle service to and from the hospitals can be arranged. For the sporting enthusiasts, we are 9.1km from Loftus Versfeld. Abafazi Guest House is 47.3km from O R Thambo International Airport. Abafazi Guest House primarily trades to provide loyal Black Employees and their families an opportunity to be gainfully employed, with profit sharing, for many years to come as well as provide a business opportunity for her sister Melanie and her niece Erin to build upon for their future.
Melanie is currently the manager of Abafazi and is one of the most likeable, loved and efficient people you will ever meet. Doreen is a loyal and trusted employee who takes care of the inside maintenance of the property. Nicholas is a loyal and trusted employee who takes care of the garden and exterior of the property and also does all the work requiring some muscle that the ladies ask of him.
